Which Roofing System Has the Lowest Starting Cost?

Asphalt shingles generally provide the lowest starting installed price. Metal tile and ribbed metal roofing can offer an entry point into metal roofing at a lower initial cost than standing seam or aluminum shingles, depending on the roof design and project scope.

Which Roofing Systems Require a Higher Initial Investment?

Standing seam and aluminum shingles typically require a higher starting investment because of the materials, system components, detailing and installation methods involved. The final choice should reflect the appearance, performance expectations and long-term priorities of the project.

What Affects the Final Cost of a Roofing Project?

Final pricing depends on roof area, slope, access, valleys and penetrations, existing roof conditions, tear-off requirements, decking repairs, material selection, custom flashings and the overall installation scope. HST is additional.
